TaleSnow drops fall down flake by flake, like petals, like leaves, more than quiet. Snow-white cottons fill out the lakefront and cover the red roofs. It falls, sometimes, falls on curious puppies, and scares them back behind the door, even too afraid to bark, afraid to break the silence. The sun feels farther than ever, it becomes so shy that even needs the clouds covers. Such a peaceful place, like a dream, a dream never ever.


“Look, Brother! It’s snow!”


A childish voice flows above the field of a small town; a clear voice, like glassy ice, or the cold wind beyond the sky. Upon the hill, the big forest surrounds the town and hides it from the war, from fire that burns the suffering, from shots that break hearts.


“Yeah, so pretty. Like Snowy,your name.”


Beside her, a man who is much taller and stronger than her stands, holding her cold hand, letting warmth flow through her body, and she holds back, not wanting to lose the warmth, not again.


A few years ago, the same snow, the same holiness like today, she was found by him, after the war; after her real family’s death. She strayed for manyyears, and arrived in this town, the town with out war. Why did she call him “brother”? She has no blood relation with him, she knows, but since the day he held her hand and took her home, she couldn’t forget his smile
